I am a self-taught artist with a newfound passion for fluid art and hand painting on canvas.

Striving to be everything to everyone leaves little time to seek out new passions. Having a full-time career in tech sales, being a mom and wife keep my dance card full. It wasn't until a virus forced us all to stay at home that I finally took the time to center in on myself.

I've always had a passion for creating, but it wasn't until I picked up some paintbrushes one afternoon with my daughter that I realized that painting makes me happy.  I paint and create what feels good in the moment. There are endless ways to create beauty, and my art will continue to evolve as I do. Thank you for taking an interest in my work.

I find inspiration from many things. My very first painting was a field of Poppies, so I'll start there. They have special meaning to me for a few reasons. "Poppy" has been an endearing nickname we gave our daughter before she was born when she was the size of a poppy seed. Coming from a family of veterans, the red Poppy also has special 

I find inspiration from many things. My very first painting was a field of Poppies, so I'll start there. They have special meaning to me for a few reasons. "Poppy" has been an endearing nickname we gave our daughter before she was born when she was the size of a poppy seed. Coming from a family of veterans, the red Poppy also has special meaning. I plan to continue painting Poppies as time goes on. Fluid art is free-flowing and relaxing. It allows me to let go of the control I hold onto so dearly every day. I'm fascinated with the chemistry, technique, and mix of colors required to achieve a particular look. 

The art community continues to inspire me with their passion and creativity.  Their support and encouragement humble me as I begin this journey.
